Dr. Asmat Jafry, MD
Dr. Jafry is a board-certified psychiatrist who treats patients of all ages with a keen interest in a broad range of psychiatric disorders including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, psychosis, eating disorders, and addiction disorders.
She completed her medical education from Karnatak University, India. With a keen interest in psychiatry, she completed her General Psychiatry residency from Austin, Texas and went on to pursue her fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry from McGaw Medical Center at Northwestern University, Chicago.
Dr. Jafry believes in providing quality care in a secure environment where a patient feels comfortable to express his/her concerns. With her caring and pleasant personality, she is highly approachable and connects well with kids and adolescents. Her ability to work well with families is particularly appreciated by her patients.
Katarzyna (Kasia) Slys, MS, PA-C
Katarzyna Skorka is a state-licensed and nationally board-certified physician assistant. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology at Loyola University Chicago and her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Southern Illinois University. During her training, she received academic and clinical training in multiple fields including psychiatry, family medicine, internal medicine, women’s health and more. She underwent her medical rotations through Carle Foundation Hospital which consisted of inpatient and outpatient psychiatry, treating a broad range of psychiatric disorders.
Katarzyna believes in the treatment of a person as a whole. She is passionate about eliminating the stigma surrounding psychological diagnoses. Following evidence-based medicine and using clinical judgment, she will provide an in-depth evaluation to develop an accurate diagnosis. She will work with you to develop an individualized treatment plan to assist you in reaching your goals. She wants to give her patients the opportunity to share their experiences in a judgement free atmosphere. Most importantly, she is eager to listen and involve the patient in the process in order to provide the best possible care to her patients.
Safaa Beg
Safaa Beg is a state-licensed and nationally board-certified physician assistant. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience at Michigan State University and her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Midwestern University. During her clinical rotations at Midwestern, she gained experience in a variety of different medical settings, including pediatrics and both inpatient and outpatient neurology.
Safaa grew up in Naperville and is familiar with the needs of community, specifically those struggling with psychiatric disorders in a post pandemic world. She performs in depth evaluations and works with patients to come up with the best treatment plan according to the patient’s needs and comfort level. She wants her patients to feel safe and aware that their needs are being met.
During her free time, Safaa loves to try making new recipes, take her toddler for a walk, or read!

Caroline Smith, LCPC, NCC, CAADC
Caroline Smith is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and a Certified Alcohol and Other Drug Counselor (CAADC). She graduated from Benedictine University with a Master’s Degree in Counseling. With 22 plus years of experience in helping people improve their lives, she takes pride in her holistic approach to mental health.
The physical, mental and social areas are all important. Her specialties include working with adults and older adults with a variety of problems including anxiety, depression, grief/loss, relationships, parenting, difficult transitions, and addictions. She uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), teaches coping skills and a variety of approaches to help people change and grow.

Loreta Stavskiene, MS, NCC, LCPC, LMHC
Loreta Stavskiene is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), a National Certified Counselor (NCC), and Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). She graduated from Benedictine University with a Master’s of Science in Clinical Psychology degree in 2005. Since her graduation, she worked in different roles and capacities in the mental health field which allowed her to strengthen her clinical skills and grow as a mental health professional. She has designed, implemented, and coordinated an eating disorder program at a residential treatment center, trained and supervised staff, provided group and individual counseling, collaborated with multidisciplinary treatment teams to facilitate treatment outcomes and goals.
Loreta Stavskiene, MS, NCC, LCPC, LMHC hasvaluable experience in helping individuals with eating disorders, addictions, mood and anxiety disorders, complex trauma, and personality disorders. She is very passionate in helping individuals to reach their true potential and create meaningful lives. She works with adults and adolescents aged 14 and up. In addition, she provides family and couplescounseling and therapy. She utilizes Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and is trained in Rapid Resolution Therapy (RRT). Currently she is working in private practice in Bolingbrook, IL and Munster,IN. She oversees clinical functions and facilitates professional development of interns, graduate students, and counselors to ensure the quality of care to clients, as well as maintenance of program policies and proceduresat Life Skills Counseling Services, Naperville IL.
Kevin Lage
Kevin Lage is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor who specializes in addiction, anxiety, mood disorders and employee wellness. Kevin’s style in therapy is open, engaging, and compassionate. His role is to help you navigate through difficult emotions and experiences, and to provide you with the tools and support you need to make meaningful and lasting changes in your life. He will listen actively to what you have to say, and help you to gain a deeper understanding of your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.
Kevin graduated with honors from National Louis University in 2018 and has experience working at several residential treatment facilities. As a counselor, I specialize in a variety of areas including anxiety, depression, stress management, relationship issues, self-esteem, and coping with life transitions.
I understand that reaching out for help can be difficult, and it takes a lot of courage to take the first step. I want you to know that I am here to support and understand you. I can imagine how hard it may be for you to talk about your feelings and thoughts with someone you don’t know. But I am here to listen and to provide a non-judgmental space for you.
Diana
Diana (she/her) received her bachelor’s degree in social work at University of St. Francis in Joliet, IL in 2018 and completed her master’s program in Social Work, also at University of St. Francis in 2021. Diana also has a minor in Psychology and is an inductee in Phi Alpha Honors Society at University of St. Francis. Diana currently holds a LSW (Licensed Social Worker) and is currently working towards her clinical license- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
Diana strives to provide psychological support through mutual respect, collaboration (client centered care), compassion and growth, working towards overall health and wellness relating to mental health. Diana recognizes that every person has unique experiences, strengths, and factors relating to beliefs, culture, family, values, and personal identity. Diana strives to honor and respect the client’s individuality and unique story. Diana believes that every client has the potential to grow and make positive changes and that every person deserves the full chance to make productive and healthy changes.
Diana believes that mental health treatment begins with the relationship between therapist/counselor and client. This process involves active listening, mutual understanding of treatment planning, communication between client and therapist, mutual respect and understanding, and collaboration with a goal of creating overall health and wellness. Diana also recognizes that every client has unique goals for treatment and Diana strives to assist her patients with achieving their identified goals through treatment planning and routine check-ins and communication.
Diana has experience working with adults and adolescents on in-patient psychiatric units including UCM (University of Chicago Medicine Ingalls Memorial Wyman Gordon) in Harvey, IL and AMITA/ASCENSION St. Joes in Joliet and since gaining her license, has changed to private practice through providing individual therapy. Diana has experience using CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), Solution-Focused, and Strengths Based Therapy. Diana has experience with clients struggling with co-occurring disorders (substance abuse and mental health). Diana also treats clients with a variety of disorders: anxiety, eating, mood, and personality disorders. Diana also has experience with trauma and stressor related disorders as well as psychotic and neurodevelopmental disorders.
Alexis Strain
Alexis earned her B.A. in Psychology from Benedictine University in Lisle, IL, in 2021. She is completing her Master’s degree at Bradley University in Peoria, IL, specializing in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Her experience as a former professional ballerina, psychology degree, and counseling expertise allow her to utilize therapeutic modalities creatively. She understands that each client will explore their thoughts and feelings at a different pace, requiring defined goals to be a collaborative approach with her clients. Alexis is committed to supporting the development of various clients, including adults, adolescents, couples, families, and athletes. She is trained in multiple therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Art Therapy, and Movement Therapy.
Her knowledge and passion for improving the well-being of individuals converge to create a genuine environment to provide high-quality, ethical care. Empowering clients through self-awareness and developing coping skills to integrate into their daily lives is only possible through a relationship built together. Alexis explores the client’s patterns, root causes, and systemic impacts of current symptoms and stressors to provide unique treatment for each client. Alexis treats various mental health conditions, including anxiety, trauma, eating disorders, depression, life stressors, and relationship issues. Alexis is also passionate about working with LGBTQ+ clients and clients from diverse backgrounds.
Nicholas Sumoski
Nicholas (he/him) completed his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and is in the process of obtaining his Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Governors State University in University Park, Illinois.
Nicholas’s priority is to foster a safe, comfortable, and nonjudgmental environment that promotes growth and healing. He uses a client-centered approach and utilizes treatment techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy based around the client’s needs.
Together, Nicholas and his clients collaborate to create treatment plans tailored to the specific needs of each individual. He treats a variety of mental health conditions including depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, bipolar disorder, and obsessive- compulsive disorder
