Group Therapist (LPC / Intern)

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality therapeutic services to groups, focusing on mental health and emotional well-being. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic interventions tailored to the unique needs of clients, including children and those experiencing grief.

Duties

  • Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to address various mental health issues.
  • Utilize psychotherapy techniques to facilitate healing and personal growth.
  • Perform diagnostic evaluations to assess clients’ mental health conditions.
  • Develop comprehensive treatment plans based on client assessments and goals.
  • Provide grief counseling and support to clients dealing with loss or trauma.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and case management records.
  • Collaborate with other professionals in the field, including social workers, to ensure holistic care for clients.
  • Stay informed about medical terminology and ICD-9 coding relevant to mental health diagnoses.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to enhance therapeutic skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Degree in Psychology is required.
  • Valid licensure as a Therapist or Counselor in the state of IL.
  • Experience working with children is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology and diagnostic evaluation processes.
  • Proficiency in case management practices and documentation standards.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Knowledge of grief counseling techniques is an asset.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Systems Administrator

Install, configure and maintain Windows-based servers. Configure and manage LANs, WANs, VPNs, firewalls and routers. Ensure the system/network complies with HIPAA regulations for medical data privacy. Implement System enhancements by applying updates, patches and security configurations. Use monitoring tools to track system health and performance, and ensure data recovery solutions are in place and tested. Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, procedures and changes. Provide technical support to end users. The employee will work in the field of Network and System administration within the broader Information Technology industry. He will be working in this role at a health care institution specializing in mental health. Data privacy and compliance to HIPAA regulations pertaining to medical records is required.

Master’s in Cybersecurity, Computer Science or related field required.
